This place is truly a hidden gem in Santa Monica and did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were charmed by the elegant, cozy décor and the warm welcome from Samuel, who took wonderful care of us all night. We started with two glasses of Barbera d’Asti, then shared several dishes—and every single one impressed: • Fritto Misto with grilled lemon (so light and crisp - I do love my fritto lemony!) • Margherita pizza (oh, that sauce! That crust! That stretchy cheese!) • Maccheroni Bolognese (arrived steaming hot with perfectly cooked pasta!) • Bread pudding (complete with an adorable, personalized message since it was date night!) And the bill? Surprisingly reasonable, especially given how expensive dining out has become lately. My only regret was having to share that bread pudding. Florence Osteria deserves much more buzz, and we’ll definitely be back—I’m already planning to bring my mom here when she visits later this month. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try… just don’t make my mistake of having to share dessert!

We had a great luncheon. Thanks for your warm welcome. I never really noticed the place but my husband decided to go there. Loved the branzino. It was really good, very well cooked. Hubby took the chicken and mentioned it was also really good. We also had the Fritto Misto. What i loved is that you can order a half portion of some dishes, which is a european sized portion. Perfect for me! We will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful dining experience! To start, the decor and music set a perfect tone to enjoy a delicious meal. The server had an excellent knowledge of wines and helped select an excellent accompaniment for the meal. The gamberi were grilled to perfection. The batter on the fritto misto was light, and the flavors came through beautifully. The beet salad was beautifully presented, plentiful, and well-balanced. The bread pudding was astonishing! Service was friendly, timely, and unobtrusive. I look forward to coming back soon, and highly recommend.

This new place in Santa Monica is a hidden gem! The design of the restaurant is beautiful. The staff and the service were amazing. Top notch food and drinks, with the cacio e pepe and Hugo spritz being highlights! Would definitely recommend

Wow! What an amazing new spot in Santa Monica. We had lunch here, the chicken provolone panini was amazing. We had some Prosecco and a lovely Caesar salad. Dessert was also very tasty. Cute little patio outside, vibrant decor and felt like a little taste of Italy. Will definitely come back for dinner!
